Woman Accused Of Making A False Complaint To 911: Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS

  • Michael A. Crigley, 32, of the 6200 block of W Devon Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Oct. 16 at Gold and Arlington Heights roads. He was bonded out and given a court date of Nov. 6.
  • George C. Nicholson, 29, of the 0-100 block of Amber Court, Schaumburg, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:58 p.m Oct. 17 at I-90 westbound west of Arlington Heights Road. He was released on bond and given a court date of Nov. 30.
  • Daniel J. Dietrich, 40, of the 1500 block of S Belmont Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:22 a.m. Oct. 18 at S Arlington Heights and Golf roads. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 30.
  • Deyanra Castillo Bustos, 27, of the 1300 block of E Ports O Call, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at 3:14 a.m. Oct. 19 at N Arlington Heights Road and E Northwest Highway. Bustos was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 30.
  • Blanca A. Avila, 25, of the 5100 block of Madison Street, Hillside, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Oct 25 at Golf and Arlington Heights roads. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 14.
  • Chad Marshall Way, 34, of the 900 block of W North Street, Auburn, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested 3:54 a.m. Oct. 27 in the 100 block of W Algonquin Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 30.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Darsha A. Paxson, 39, of the 1500 block of S Belmont Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at midnight, Oct. 18, at W Central Road and S Walnut Avenue. Paxson was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 9.
  • Irakli Damenia, 20, of Brooklyn, New York, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 23 on Algonquin Road. Damenia was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 9.
  • Angelica Ramos, 47, of the 1800 block of Manchester Avenue, Westchester, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 1800 block of S Arlington Heights Road. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 14.

RETAIL THEFT

  • Caitlin E. Wood, 26, of the 4300 block of W Roscoe Street, Chicago, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Oct. 23 at E Rand Road. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 30
  • Patrick John Petrillo, 31, of the 1500 block of Stonegate Manor, Arlington Heights, is accused of retail theft, theft of labor/services, and was arrested at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 25 in the 0-100 block of S Evergreen. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 7.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

Todd J. Liszka, 29, of the 600 block of S Highland Avenue, Arlington Heights, is accused of obstructing identification, and was arrested 10:35 p.m. Oct. 27 in the 600 block of S Highland Avenue. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 30.

FALSE ALARM

Karen A. Kline, 50, of the 2600 block of N Windsor Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of false alarm/complaint to 911, and was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 7500 block of S Stony Island Avenue. She was taken to court.

BURGLARY

Marldon RR Holder, 31, of the 1100 block of E Northwest Highway, is accused of burglary, battery, and was arrested at 3 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 0-100 block of W Algonquin Road. Holder was taken to court.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

  • A resident in the 1700 block of S Chesterfield Drive reported at 8 a.m. Nov. 1 that someone had unlawfully entered and squatted in an unlocked shed on the resident’s property. The resident discovered evidence indicating someone had been staying in the shed as well as several tools missing from the shed.
  • A person called police on Nov. 1 to report someone damaged their vehicle in the parking lot while they were shopping inside Lowe's, 990 W Algonquin Road, between noon and 1:30 p.m. The vehicle was damaged in the form of a long scratch caused by an unknown sharp object, possibly a key.
  • A person reported at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 1 someone damaged a fence at the park by using spray paint to write obscene language. The cost to repair the damage is unknown.

THEFT

A resident in the 1300 block of E Northwest Highway called police Oct. 31 to report someone took a package after it was delivered to the wrong address by mistake between 4-9 p.m. The value of the package’s contents is approximately $32.
