Films made across eight decades will be shown on a two-story-tall screen at the downtown Aurora performance center.

AURORA, IL — Movies from eight decades will be shown on the big screen at Paramount Theatre for just $1 starting in February.

Movie-goers can watch cinema classics and modern flicks on the two-story screen at the downtown Aurora performing arts center, at 23 E. Galena Blvd. Movies still start at 7 p.m. on a majority of Mondays through June. The series kicks off Feb. 9 with "Black Panther."

Tickets will be available at the door for cash only — only bills of $20 or less will be accepted. Drinks from a full-service bar and concessions, including a $7 deal for a combination of a large buttered popcorn and a large soft drink, will be available for purchase using credit and debit cards.
