1st Concert Announced At RiverEdge Park After Summer Of Closure
RiverEdge Park, located in the heart of Aurora, was closed for the 2025 summer concert season due to renovations.
AURORA, IL — RiverEdge Park announced its first concert after being closed for a year due to renovations.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show will take over the newly renovated, 30-acre park at 8 p.m. Aug. 21. It's the only event currently listed on the venue's website.
RiverEdge Park, located in the heart of Aurora, was closed for the 2025 summer concert season but opened in November for the Christkindlmarket. The city decided to expand RiverEdge Park due to five years of continuously growing events and crowds, Patch reported.

Among improvements included more than tripling the square footage of the backstage area and expanding public seating by about 2,500 seats. The city, which owns and operates the event facility, allocated $16 million to the renovation, according to a report from Chronicle Media.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show will feature a light and laser show, video animations, an LED screen and other special effects. As is Pink Floyd tradition, the band will bring out several large inflatables, including a giant pig and their own signature Pink Kangaroo.
"Performing the music of Pink Floyd with note for note perfection, this critically acclaimed show has been astonishing audiences worldwide for nearly 40 years," organizers said of the show. "Reproducing the complete Pink Floyd experience and bringing the music to new audiences, TAPFS inspired a whole new genre of acts."
Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 13. Admission starts at $39.50, with VIP packages costing $139.50.
