2 Aurora High Schools To Face Off In Crosstown Basketball Match

AURORA, IL — Crosstown rivalries — West Aurora High School and East Aurora High School — will meet once again to face off on the basketball court Friday night.

The East Aurora Tomcats will take on the West Aurora Blackhawks at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St. East Aurora administrators are expecting it to be a "high-energy matchup."

The girls varsity team will kick off the night at 5:30 p.m., and the boys varsity team will follow, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.

Tickets to the game can be purchased online and cost $5 for adults and $3 for students. One ticket covers admission to both games.

"Come out and pack the gym to cheer on our student-athletes in one of the most anticipated nights of the season!" West Aurora High School wrote in a post on Facebook.
