2 Dead In I-88 Crash Near Aurora: ISP
One of the two cars involved was fully engulfed in flames as a result of the collision, state police said.
AURORA, IL — Two people died in a fiery crash early Wednesday morning on Interstate 88 near Eola Road, Illinois State Police said.
The crash occurred at about 12:45 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate. One of the two vehicles was fully engulfed in fire as a result of the collision, officials said.
Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

All eastbound lanes were shut down, and traffic was diverted onto Eola Road, until about 5:22 a.m. Wednesday. The crash remains under investigation.
