2 Men Injured In Shooting At East Side Residence: Aurora Police
Multiple rounds were fired at a residence in the 1900 block of Westridge Place, hitting the men, ages 53 and 19, Aurora police said.
AURORA, IL — Two men, ages 19 and 53, were shot Thursday night when multiple rounds of gunfire hit a residence in the 1900 block of Westridge Place, Aurora police said.
When police responded at about 10:18 p.m. to the property on the city's East Side, they located the two men, who were last reported to be in serious but stable condition. Paramedics brought both to a local hospital, and the teenager was later transferred to another hospital for additional treatment, according to a Friday news release.
Investigators believe the shooting "stemmed from circumstances specific to those involved." There is no ongoing threat to the community, police said.

No arrests have been made, but investigators are following up on leads as the investigation continues, officials said. Evidence technicians found multiple shell casings and other evidence at the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact detectives at 630-256-5500. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000. The program offers cash rewards of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of felony crime offenders and the capture of felony fugitives.
