22 Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Aurora
The new cases include patients from a wide range of age groups.
AURORA, IL — Aurora confirmed 10 more coronavirus cases Thursday, bringing the citywide total up to 22 confirmed cases, according to an update from city officials. The update comes after news that Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin and Police Chief Kristen Ziman both tested positive for coronavirus.
The new patients are as follows:
- Two men in their 20s
- One man in his 30s
- Three women in their 40s
- One man in his 40s
- One woman in her 50s
- One man in his 70s
- One woman in her 80s

City officials say no further details would be disclosed. Aurora's first coronavirus case, a supervisor at the Aurora Police Department, was made public Saturday. Since then, one patient, a man in his 90s, has died of coronavirus in Aurora.
