26 East Aurora High Students Designated State Scholars

Each year, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission honors students based on SAT, ACT or class rank.

AURORA, IL — The Illinois Student Assistance Commission has designated 26 East Aurora High School students State Scholars due to their "exceptional" academic achievement, the district announced.

The Class of 2023 students are among about 16,770 honorees from across the state joining the thousands of students who have been recognized since the designation was introduced in 1958.

To become a State Scholar, students must perform in the top one-half of their high school class at the end of the sixth semester and score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT.
