7-Year-Old Hit By Car In Aurora, Airlifted To Hospital
The boy was crossing the street when a 17-year-old driver hit him. His condition is critical, but not life-threatening.

AURORA, IL — A boy was hospitalized Wednesday after being hit by a car in Aurora, according to reports.
The 7-year-old was crossing the street at Woodruff and Superior around 5:40 p.m. when he was hit, police said. The Aurora Beacon-News reported he was taken airlifted to a suburban hospital with injuries considered critical, but non-life-threatening.
The 17-year-old driver is not being charged, but was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to the Beacon-News.
