In the last round of funding, about 70 local businesses received a total of almost $750,000 in grants.
AURORA, IL — A second round of grant funding is available to small businesses in Aurora. This time, the total is roughly $700,000, officials announced.
Locals have until April 3 to submit an application to receive financial assistance from the city's Finish Line Grant and Re-Start Retention Grant programs.
The former assists property owners and tenants in completing rehabilitation projects as a way to enhance Aurora's viability, officials said. The Re-Start initiative helps small businesses with operational and business expenses in order to prevent shop closures and more job loss after the COVID-19 pandemic.
