10 Injured When Ambulance Collides With Minivan In Aurora
Police say two victims sustained life-threatening injuries.

AURORA, IL -- Ten people were injured, two seriously, on Wednesday evening when a minivan collided with an ambulance transporting a patient Aurora. Police say the ambulance was heading westbound on Galena with its lights and sirens activated when it was T-boned by the minivan.
According to police, the minivan was driving southbound when the collision took place.
A total of 11 people were transported to nearby hospitals.

The driver of the minivan is a 25 year old man. The minivan passengers include two 1-year-old twin boys, a 5-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old boy, along with three females, ages 3, 12, and 20 years old.
Police say a 1-year-old and 11-year-old boy were rushed to a Chicago hospital with life-threatening head injuries.

A 16-year-old girl was in the ambulance during the collision, but police say she did not sustain any further injuries.
