Annual Veterans Assembly Returns To West Aurora High School

Locals are invited to the hour-long assembly at the school's main gym on Nov. 10, the day before Veterans Day.

AURORA, IL — West Aurora High School is putting on its annual assembly for veterans, and the public is invited. The event is scheduled to take place for an hour starting at 1:47 p.m. in the school's main gym.

All veterans and current military personnel are invited to attend the high school assembly.

The assembly was originally scheduled earlier in the day but was postponed to the afternoon to accommodate COVID-19 restrictions, school staff said. Masks will be required, and the school is asking people to practice social distancing as well.

Guests should park on the east side of the school, located at 1201 W. New York St., and enter through doors 15 and 16 before following signs posted to the Main Gym.
