Applications Open for Youth Engagement in Philanthropy

CFFRV seeks passionate, community-minded high school students for second year of distinguished program

Applications are open for the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley's 2020-2021 Youth Engagement in Philanthropy (YEP) program!

YEP introduces young people in the community to the concepts of philanthropy, active citizenship, and leadership in new ways, ultimately taking youth "beyond the bake sale." The program will consist of monthly meetings from August 2020 to April 2021, with possible summer opportunities.

Once again, CFFRV is asking for help identifying students for this program.

YEP launched in 2019 with funding generously provided by Dunham Fund. During the first year, fifteen youth from five different high schools in the Fox River Valley became a group of committed leaders in their community.

"Each person brings their unique perspective and inspiration," said Julie Christman, president and CEO of CFFRV. "Our youth and our community have already benefited, and will continue to benefit, from YEP!"
