Armed Suspects Rob Bank In Aurora: Cops

Police say at least one shot was fired during the robbery.

AURORA, IL --- FBI Chicago and Aurora Police are looking for a male and female suspect who robbed a bank while armed Thursday afternoon. The robbery took place at Aurora Bank and Trust, located in the 2200 block of W. Galena Ave.

At least one shot was fired during the robbery, according to police, but no one was hit or injured.

Police say the man and woman entered the bank around 12:25 p.m. and that at least one of the suspects was armed. The pair then went up to a teller and demanded cash, according to police.

The teller gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled in a black Ford Fusion or a similar style of vehicle. They were last seen driving north on Orchard Rd.
