Art And Market Planned For 3 Days In Downtown Aurora

The curated indoor market at Society 57 will host about two dozen local makers selling baked goods and homegrown and handmade items.

AURORA, IL — Art and Market will return to downtown Aurora for three Saturdays in November and December.

The curated indoor market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 11, Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 at Society 57, 100 S. River St. Organized by nonprofit Aurora Downtown, Art and Market will feature about two dozen local makers selling baked goods and homegrown and handmade items.

Organizers said the market has become a popular place to get artisan gifts, candles, cookies, plants, jewelry, body oils and more. Vendors slated to participate include Biscocho's, The Perch, 1819 Madera Designs, The Wood Crafters, Nuna Ceramics, and S Designs, among others.

Society 57 will feature Modest Coffee, Katich Breads as well as its full menu inside the coffee shop at each market.

At the Nov. 11 Art and Market, visitors will also have a chance to purchase mugs and buttons for the Dec. 1 Cocoa Crawl. About 30 locations participate in the Aurora Downtown-hosted event each year, Patch reported. The crawl will be the focus of December's First Fridays.
