Athleta Opens First-Ever Outlet Store At Chicago Premium Outlets

AURORA, IL — Athleta, known for its high-quality athleisure, opened its first-ever outlet store at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora.

The company, owned by Gap, celebrated the grand opening of the store at the outlet mall, 1650 Premium Outlet Blvd., Tuesday morning.

The Athleta outlet will occupy a space of more than 3,100 square feet to showcase "the brand’s full selection of versatile, on-trend performance lifestyle product."

The store will carry a "curated assortment" of the brand's performance and lifestyle products, including customer-favorite styles such as the Salutation Stash Tight, Momentum Seamless Tank and Conscious Crop.

"The remaining outlet store assortment will offer customers unique value on existing high-quality and on-trend Athleta styles," the store said in a news release.

Athleta Girl products will also be sold at the outlet.

Unique offerings at the outlet will include order-in-store and buy-online, pickup-in-store options. Alterations will be available as well.

Currently, the closest Athleta stores to Aurora can be found on Washington Boulevard in Naperville and at Geneva Commons in Geneva.
