Aurora Among Hardest Working Cities In U.S.: Study

See how Aurora stacked up against Chicago, Nashville, and other cities.

AURORA, IL - Aurora residents can add an accolade to their list after a new study ranked the city among the hardest working cities in the U.S. Aurora came in at #24 in the study, conducted by Kempler Industries.

The study analyzed data from 200 cities across the country with populations of 150,000 and more. Cities were analyzed based on average commute, average hours worked per week, number of senior citizens in the workforce, and other factors.

Aurora came in just behind Chicago, but ahead of Denver. The average commute for Aurora workers was calculated at 28.8 minutes and the average work week came in at just under 39 hours.
