Aurora Chiropractor Denied Pre-Trial Release In Sexual Assault Of Teens Case: Berlin
The Naperville man, 46, is accused of sexually assaulting two teenagers at his chiropractic clinic in Aurora.

AURORA, IL — A Naperville chiropractor is accused of sexually assaulting two boys whom he was treating at his Aurora clinic, the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office said Monday.
The 46-year-old Murtaza Hameed was charged with one count of criminal sexual assault, five counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, one count of attempted criminal sexual assault, and one count of misdemeanor battery. Judge Demetrios Panoushis granted the state's motion to deny Hameed pre-trial release after he made his first court appearance this weekend.
The charges result from two alleged incidents of sexual assaults of children on Jan. 11 and in 2016, officials said.

Earlier this year, the DuPage County Children's Center received information from the Aurora Police Department in January regarding alleged sexual assault at the chiropractic clinic in the 3800 block of McCoy Drive in Aurora.
Aurora police's investigation alleges that a 17-year-old boy went to Hameed for treatment on Jan. 11 and was sexually abused, officials said. The boy then returned home and told his father, who contacted police. Through the investigation, detectives found that a 16-year-old boy experienced a similar incident in 2016, according to a news release.
