Aurora Man, 19, Charged With Cyberstalking

The man allegedly violated an order of protection while in jail.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man has been charged with stalking and cyberstalking after he allegedly violated an order of protection. Police say Raul Perez, 19, of the 200 block of N. 4th St. was the subject of an investigation that involved an inmate at the Kendall County Jail using the phone system to allegedly violate an order of protection.

A warrant for Perez's arrest was issued in early April and he was taken into custody on April 30. After the investigation, police say they found "additional offenses" that led to another warrant issued on June 7.

Perez is currently being held at Kendall County Jail on $100,000 bond. He was set to appear in court again on June 13.
