Aurora Man Gave Cocaine To Woman, Then Sexually Assaulted Her: Mosser
A Kane County jury found a 42-year-old man guilty of criminal sexual assault in a case dating back to July 2022.

AURORA, IL — A jury found an Aurora man guilty of criminal sexual assault in a case that dates back to July 2, 2022.
The jury convicted Ricardo Lemos, 42, of the felony on Oct. 24.
Assistant State's Attorneys Matthew Rodgers and Bridget Carlson stated in court that Lemos, of the 1700 block of Felten Road, gave cocaine to a woman, whom he knew, and proceeded to sexually assault her when she was unable to consent.

"The defendant exploited his relationship with this victim to sexually assault her," Rodgers said in a statement. "He did not count on her strength in coming forward and reporting this offense."
Lemos remains in custody at the Kane County jail.

Judge Bianca Camargo set the man's next court date, for post-trial motions, for Dec. 20. He faces a sentence between 4 to 15 years of imprisonment, with no eligibility for probation.
