Aurora Man Injured In Gang-Related Shooting: Police

The Aurora Fire Department took the 20-year-old man to a local hospital, where he is in serious but stable condition, according to police.

AURORA, IL — A 20-year-old Aurora man was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening after being shot in an apparent gang-related incident on the city’s west side, according to Aurora police.

Police were called to the 800 block of Oliver Avenue at 5:15 p.m. after shots were reportedly fired and found a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound, according to a news release. The Aurora Fire Department took the man to a local hospital, where he is in serious but stable condition, police said.
