Aurora Opens Collaboration Center For Non-Profits, Entrepreneurs

Thrive Collaboration Center will offer low-cost rental spaces, workshops, and training events.

AURORA, IL — The City of Aurora recently opened a new collaborative space designed for entrepreneurs, non-profits, and other residents. Thrive Collaboration Center, located at 712 S. River St., will host its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 24 at 4:30 p.m.

The center will offer low-cost rental spaces, workshops, and other training opportunities. Residents can come to Thrive Collaboration Center to rent individual work spaces or shared meeting rooms. Workshops will focus on business development, marketing, fundraising, and other topics relevant to entrepreneurs, non-profits, and other businesses.

In a statement, Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin said, "Research has proven that collaboration leads to significant growth in new and existing businesses. The City of Aurora seeks to support our local nonprofits and social entrepreneurs in achieving such growth by establishing a location that fosters sharing, caring and connection."
