Aurora Restaurants Seek License for Late-Night Menus

Gillerson's Grubbery and McBride's North are both seeking a E-1 liquor license.

Two Aurora restaurants are seeking a liquor license that would allow the businesses to serve a special late-night menu, the Aurora Beacon-News reports.

The Government Operations Committee on Tuesday OK'd a new E-1 liquor license for Gillerson's Grubbery, 31 W. New York St., and McBride's North, 2340 S. Eola Road, according to the article. The licenses would still need to be approved by Aurora's Committee of a Whole.

One other business in town, Leland Towers and Karademas Hospitality, was recently awarded the new E-1 license to be used in its Leland Legends restaurant, which will be located in the first floor of Leland Towers and is slated to open in the coming months, according to the Aurora Beacon-News. The E-1 liquor license option was approved by the Aurora City Council last year and allows restaurants to serve a limited menu after 11 p.m.
