Aurora Teen Charged In Child Pornography Investigation: Mosser
Prosecutors said the 18-year-old possessed and disseminated child sexual abuse material.

AURORA, IL — An 18-year-old Aurora man was charged with multiple felonies in a child sexual abuse material case, officials said Tuesday.
Daniel Tirado possessed and disseminated multiple videos depicting child sexual abuse between Oct. 20, 2025, and June 30, 2026, Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser and Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain alleged.
Tirado was charged with six counts of dissemination of child sexual abuse material and seven counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.

The Kane County Child Exploitation Unit and Aurora Police Department helmed the investigation.
Tirado appeared in court July 23 for a pre-trial detention hearing, and the court ordered him released with supervision while his case is pending. His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 27.
