AURORA, IL — Aurora residents who order food to go will temporarily be able to take home something extra: beer and wine. The change, effective immediately at restaurants with certain liquor licenses, comes as Governor J.B. Pritzker has put a stay-at-home order in place through April 7.

Residents who order $10 worth of food or more to go can add packaged beer and wine to their takeout or delivery order. Though restaurants are closed to in-person dining, a number of Aurora restaurants remain open for carryout.
