Aurora Woman Seriously Injured After Car Crash Sunday: Reports
The crash happened near the intersection of Parker and Douglas avenues just after midnight.
AURORA, IL — An Aurora woman in her 30s was seriously injured after a car crash on Aurora's east side Sunday morning, according to reports from the Daily Herald.
The woman was first taken to Rush Copley Medical Center before she was airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, the paper said.
Aurora police posted on Facebook at 12:39 a.m. Sunday alerting the community of the crash that happened near the intersection of Parker Avenue and Douglas Avenue.

Several streets near the intersection were blocked "for an extended period of time" while officers investigated, police said in the post.
Aurora police had not responded to Patch's request for comment at the time of publication.
