AURORA, IL -- Aurora's Water Street Mall will be filled with handmade jewelry, original art, and other eclectic items for the city's 9th Annual Alley Art Festival. The festival, set for Aug. 31, will also feature live music, free yoga, and a belly dance performance.

"Alley Art Festival continues to be an opportunity for local artists to network and be seen in the community. It’s a day that shows how artists help our city to prosper," downtown Aurora Manager Marissa Amoni said in a statement. In total, more than 60 artists are expected to take part in the festival.

Head to the Agnes Mundy Park Stage at 12 p.m. to start enjoying the fest's live music. Performers include Zach Goforth, Town Band, and August West, who is headlining.
