Bad Axe Throwing Opens Location In Aurora
The axe-throwing venue, which also offers craft beer and wine for purchase, will host a free open house on Jan. 11.
AURORA, IL — Aurora is jumping on the recreational axe-throwing bandwagon. Its new axe-throwing venue, Bad Axe Throwing, will host an open house at its 1022 North Farnsworth location to give residents a chance to try their hands (and arms) at axe throwing for free.
In addition to competitive axe-throwing, Bad Axe Throwing also offers a selection of craft beer and wine for customers to purchase. The business, which calls axe throwing "bowling 2.0" features axe-throwing for individuals and small groups, along with hosting competitive leagues, corporate outings, birthday parties, and other events.
Mario Zeyala, founder and owner of Bad Axe Throwing said in a news release, "We're really happy with our future home. The location is perfect and we feel will draw from all areas of the Chicago suburbs, especially the corporate clients."

Bad Axe Throwing has dozens of locations throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Walk-in axe-throwing rates start at $23.98 an hour and group rates range from $35 to $39.99 per person for two hours of axe-throwing. Walk-ins are offered on a first come, first served basis.
