Boy, 16, On Bike Killed In Ogden Road Crash: Aurora PD
The fatal crash happened Monday afternoon at the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Montgomery Road in Aurora.
AURORA, IL — A 16-year-old boy riding a bicycle along Ogden Avenue was killed Monday afternoon in a crash, police said.
The teen was crossing Montgomery Road around 4 p.m. when he was hit by a 2008 Ford F-450. The pickup truck was driving west on Ogden Avenue when it entered the right-turn lane to go north on Montgomery Road and crashed with the teenager, officials said.
The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said. The driver of the Ford did not sustain any injuries.

Westbound Ogden Avenue was closed between Eola Road and Waterford Drive while police investigated. The Aurora Emergency Management Agency helped with road closures.
Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the department's traffic division at 630-256-5330.
