Burglars Plow Car Into Versace Store In Aurora: Cops

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are investigating a smash and grab burglary in which the suspects drove a car into the Versace store early Monday. Police say the burglary took place around 3:40 a.m. at Chicago Premium Outlet Mall.

Police say the suspects drove a red SUV through the mall courtyard while a white, newer model sedan plowed through the front doors of the Versace store. "Several people" got out of both vehicles, according to police, and entered the store, stealing an "unknown amount of merchandise."

Both vehicles were last seen driving toward Farnsworth Ave.
