Gather your crew for a real Viking adventure! The World Famous 1893 Viking Ship will be open to explore on&nbsp;Sunday, June 21, Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28. Our beautiful, full size, 78 foot Viking ship is based on a 1000 year old excavated ship.&nbsp; Hand built in Norway in 1893, our "VIKING"&nbsp; was sailed by a hardy crew of 12 adventurers non stop across the entire stormy North Atlantic, to become a star attraction of the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition of 1893.&nbsp;Hear its exciting story, admire its dramatic beauty, and learn the secrets of the ancient Viking shipbuilders. Open 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on 6/21, 6/27 and 6/28 ONLY.Tours led by our friendly, expert guides begin every 15 minutes. No reservations are needed. Enjoy our hands-on displays of Viking style jewelry, tools, weapons and historic images, and enjoy the selection of quality, affordable items from our gift shop. Aurora, IL(July 1, 2026) — This summer, millions of children will lose access to the dependable school meals they rely on. To combat this urgent local and national crisis, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry has joined an unprecedented, first-of-its-kind collaborative effort: <a href="https://nourishtheamericandream.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Nourish the American Dream</a>.
Spearheaded by the <a href="https://www.albertsonscompanies.com/about-aci/our-impact/Albertsons-Foundation/default.aspx" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Albertsons Companies Foundation</a> through its <a href="https://www.nourishingneighbors.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Nourishing Neighbors </a>initiative, this pioneering model unites hundreds of distinct nonprofit organizations under one giving umbrella. The Nourish the American Dream campaign is a nationwide effort to ensure every child has the nourishment they need to thrive. The campaign features:

This fast-paced musical brings to life the story of newspaper boys in New York City as publishers raise prices, cutting into the newsies’ already limited earnings. Led by the determined and charismatic Jack Kelly, the newsboys across the city band together to stand up to unfair conditions and fight for justice. Along the way, they discover the strength that comes from unity and solidarity.
