Singing Against ICE

Singing against ICE

Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora, concludes

a four-Wednesday "Lifting Voices" series Feb. 25.

From 7 to 8:15 p.m., area singers are invited to vocalize for justice and liberation. The series in the church sanctuary is patterned after groups of singers in Minneapolis who sing in resistance work.

Series organizer Thew Ellliott, Wesley director of liturgy and music, will lead. He noted, "No special skills or materials required. We lift each other. We learn together."
