MARIE WILKINSON FOOD PANTRY Joins Unprecedented National Campaign to End Childhood Hunger in Aurora, IL .
Hundreds of Non-Profits Nationwide, Including the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Join the Albertsons Companies Foundation for its "Nourish the American Dream" Initiative, Featuring a Celebrity-Backed "Dream Pantry Auction and $2.5M Donation Match."
Aurora, IL(July 1, 2026) — This summer, millions of children will lose access to the dependable school meals they rely on. To combat this urgent local and national crisis, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry has joined an unprecedented, first-of-its-kind collaborative effort: Nourish the American Dream.
Spearheaded by the Albertsons Companies Foundation through its Nourishing Neighbors initiative, this pioneering model unites hundreds of distinct nonprofit organizations under one giving umbrella. The Nourish the American Dream campaign is a nationwide effort to ensure every child has the nourishment they need to thrive. The campaign features:

WHEN: National Giving Window & Donation Match: July 1 – July 7, 2026
WHERE: Donate through the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry site atwww.mariewilkinsonfoodpantry.org.All donations to the pantry between July 1 and July 7 are eligible for the matching funds. Residents can also visit their local Jewel to donate at checkout.
WHY: Childhood hunger persists year-round, but the summer months create one of the most visible and urgent gaps in Aurora and our surrounding areas.
