Small Fire Starts After Collision Between Landscaping Truck, SUV: Aurora Police
No injuries were reported in the crash at North Eola Road and Haverhill Drive, police said.
AURORA, IL — A small fire started after a landscaping truck and an SUV crashed at the intersection of North Eola Road and Haverhill Drive, Aurora police said.
The Aurora police and fire departments learned of the crash at about 12:46 p.m. Early indications suggest the truck, which was carrying brush and logs, may have disobeyed a traffic signal, contributing to the collision, spokesperson Jim Levicki told Patch.
Following the impact, a spark ignited some of the brush in the truck bed. Firefighters quickly extinguished it.
