City Accepting Nominations For Little Miss, Mr. Aurora

AURORA, IL — It's about time again for Aurora to crown a new Little Miss and Little Mr. Aurora. The city is seeking nominees who live in Aurora and are between the ages of kindergarten and 5th grade. Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 5.

Parents can go online to submit an application for Little Miss or Little Mr. Aurora. The nomination must include a video of the nominee talking about why they would make a great Little Miss or Little Mr. Aurora. Videos should be no longer than 1 minute in running time and can also be sent via email to MyAurora@aurora-il.org.

Finalists for the Little Mr. and Little Miss Aurora crowns will be named Nov. 8. If your child is selected as a finalist, they'll get to take part in the Winter Lights Court and Parade on Nov. 22, whether or not they are chosen to win the crown.

A special crowning ceremony will be held at the upcoming Aurora City Council meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 12.
