Aurora student at University of Indianapolis earns dean’s list recognition

Bryce Logan, a 2020 Waubonsie Valley High School graduate, was appointed to the University of Indianapolis’s dean’s list for the 2021 fall semester. Logan is double majoring in international relations and Spanish.

This recognition is given to undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.7 or better during a term in which at least twelve graded credits are earned.

He was also recently appointed executive director of records for the Democratic Committee at his university.

Aurora students make Miami University dean’s list

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for the fall semester 2021-22 have been named to the Dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Sydney Anas Named To President's List at Miami University

Sydney Anas was named to the Miami University fall 2021-22 President's list.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for the fall semester 2021-22 have been named to the President's list recognizing academic excellence.

Anas, from Aurora, IL (60504), is earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Neuroscience.

Local students makes Georgia State president’s, dean’s list

• Tatiana Ocasio of Aurora (60505) was named to the Fall 2021 President's List at Georgia State University.
• Jada Samuels of Aurora (60502) was named to the Fall 2021 Dean’s List at Georgia State University.
• Kamron Ullah of Aurora (60504) was named to the Fall 2021 Dean’s List at Georgia State University.

To be eligible for the President's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Aurora student recognized on Georgia Southern University dean’s list

Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 3,420 students on the Fall 2021 Dean's List. Olivia Hoskins has been named to the list for excellence in academics. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

UT student of Aurora earns dean's list honors

Elizabeth Rumrey, of Aurora, earned dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2021 semester. Rumrey is majoring in Writing BA. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
