Luther College announces 2022 graduates from Aurora
The following students of Aurora, Illinois, participated in Commencement for the Luther College class of 2022 on May 22.

- Shelby Cassidy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing.
- Stephanie Viayra received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art.
A total of 413 graduates were honored and celebrated in Carlson Stadium. Of that number, 183 graduates received Latin honors, seven were fourth-generation Luther graduates, and more than 100 were first-generation college students.

Local college students named to Baldwin Wallace University dean's list
The following local students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Provost Stephen D. Stahl. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more graded hours during the semester.
- Tanner Elenbaas of Aurora (60502), a graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School majoring in Spanish and German.
- Audrey Hare of Aurora (60503), a graduate of Benet Academy majoring in music theatre.
- Sam Rueda of Aurora (60504), a graduate of Metea Valley High School majoring in pre-allied health/pre-physical therapy.

University of Iowa 2022 spring president's list honorees announced
More than 1,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2022 spring semester.
President's list status was earned by only 73 first-year undergraduates during the 2022 spring semester at Iowa; only 199 second-year students; only 285 third-year students; and only 464 fourth-year students.
The president's list was established in the fall of 1983 to recognize academic excellence.
In order to be included on the list, a student must have a minimum 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an A) in all academic subjects for the fall 2021 semester, and a minimum of nine graded hours with a 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an A) in all academic subjects for the spring 2021 semester. Courses offered on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory (S/U), pass/fail (P/F), or pass/non-pass (P/N) basis do not count toward graded credit for inclusion on the president's list.

Dean's, president's lists students named at University of Alabama
A total of 11,224 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2022 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
