Aurora's Allison TenHaken named to University of Iowa president's list

Allison TenHaken of Aurora, IL was among the more than 950 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2023 fall semester.

TenHaken is a fourth-year undergraduate student in Iowa's Tippie College of Business and is majoring in Accounting.

President's list status was earned by one first-year undergraduate student during the 2023 fall semester; 182 second-year students; 308 third-year students; and 484 fourth-year students.

Aurora student earns degree from University of Maryland Global Campus

Ashley Peterson-Phillips, of Aurora, earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management and Policy from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2023.

Peterson-Phillips was one of more than 8,358 students worldwide who earned degrees from UMGC in the fall. Graduates came from all 50 states, three U.S. territories, and 24 countries.

Native of Aurora named to Mississippi State University's fall 2023 Deans' List

Meghan Murphy, of Aurora, is among 2,514 named to the Mississippi State University fall 2023 Deans' List.

To be named to the deans’ list, a student must have achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.

Fall 2023 graduates announced at University of Alabama

Some 2,000 degrees were awarded during The University of Alabama's fall 2023 commencement at Coleman Coliseum. A recent economic analysis found that a degree from The University of Alabama can pay more over time than investments in U.S. stock market indexes. The University provides numerous opportunities for service and growth through its educational, social and cultural experiences.

Dean's, president's lists students named for UA fall 2023 term

A total of 13,950 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).

The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
