Coroner IDs Man Found In Fox River

The man died after he was found in the Fox River Sunday.

OAK BROOK, IL --- The Kane County Coroner has released the identity of a man who died after he was pulled from the Fox River Sunday. The victim has been identified as Edward A. Poe, 39, of Aurora.

The preliminary cause of death is pending further studies, according to a press release from the coroner's office. Toxicology tests are also pending.

The North Aurora Police Department is currently working with the Kane County Coroner's Office on this ongoing death investigation.
