Crash On Eola Road Forces Lane Closures Friday Morning: Aurora PD
Officers were on the scene of the crash around 8:10 a.m. Friday.
AURORA, IL — A stretch of North Eola Road was closed Friday morning following a crash, police said.
Lanes in both directions were closed between Sheffer Road and Liberty Street. Officers were on the scene at about 8:10 a.m., according to an alert posted on Facebook.
The road began reopening around 8:57 a.m., according to the post.

Until the area cleared and the investigation was completed, police asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
