AURORA, IL — A cleaning crew clearing out a vacant home for a new buyer made a gruesome discovery Friday morning in Aurora. Police said cleaners discovered a dead body in the detached garage of a home in the 800 block of Second Street at around 11:42 a.m. Friday. "No apparent danger to the public," police said in a news release. Police said they don't yet know the identity, gender and race of the deceased. A death investigation is underway and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning. Once the person is identified, notification will be made to relatives, according to police. Police told the Chicago Tribune the home had <a href="http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/aurora-beacon-news/news/ct-abn-body-found-aurora-garage-st-0818-20170818-story.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">not been vacant for long</a>.
