Drunk Man Arrested After Shooting Into Air: Aurora Police
A "highly intoxicated" man fired several shots into the air Tuesday afternoon on Aurora's East Side, police said.
AURORA, IL — Aurora police arrested a “highly intoxicated” man Tuesday afternoon after he fired several shots into the air, according to a news release.
Police alleged the man, who was not identified, shot his gun into the air around 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Spring Street, police said. Officers who responded to the gunshots were told the man went inside a home, and police said he initially refused to come outside.

The man was arrested a short time later when officers saw him outside the home, police said. No one was injured.
