East Aurora D131 Robotics Team Joins 1st Tech Challenge Competition
The team, comprised of Cowherd Middle School and Magnet Academy students, is heading to the state championship later this month.

AURORA, IL — On February 4, Cowherd Middle School students Christian Chavez and Karen Badillo and Magnet Academy students Sophie Escobedo-Resendiz and Christopher Carmona-Mendoza along with their team "Rounded Cube" participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics competition in Batavia.
Teams from the southern and western suburbs of Chicago participated in the competition and team "Rounded Cube" received the top inspire award and will be heading to the State Championship on February 25th.
