Ms. Magaly Martínez is the new interim principal at Rollins Elementary School.
Ms. Martínez began her career in education over a decade ago in District 131. After starting as a substitute teacher, Magaly has served as a teacher, facilitator, and most recently as assistant principal at Bardwell Elementary School.

Ms. Martínez received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris College, a master’s degree in education from Quincy University, and a second master’s degree in leadership and administration from North Central College.
Trevor Huisinga is the new assistant principal at Rollins Elementary School.
Mr. Huisinga has worked in education for over ten years, most recently serving as high school dean at East Aurora High School.
Mr. Huisinga received his bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport, and tourism from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in teaching from National Louis University, and a second master’s degree in educational administration from Aurora University.
Francisco de los Santos is the new assistant principal of student services at East Aurora High School.
Mr. de los Santos attended District 131 schools and worked in District 131 for over 25 years, including serving as a building principal for 18 years. Most recently, Mr. de los Santos served as a dean at East High School.
Mr. de los Santos received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Aurora University.
Jessica Henry is the new interim assistant principal at Bardwell Elementary School.
Ms. Henry began her career in education with District 131 over ten years ago as a second grade teacher and most recently served as an instructional coach at Gates Elementary.
Ms. Henry received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from North Central College, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University, and a second master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from North Central College.
