East Aurora School District 131 Wrestling Champions Recognized By City Council

The City of Aurora recognized two East Aurora students at their City Council meeting on April 25. The students are part of the Tribe Wrestling team which is a Kane County feeder program for students in K-8 which prepares them for high school wrestling.

David Leon, 2nd grader at Oak Park Elementary and Alex Leon, 4th grader at Johnson Elementary were honored by the City Council and were presented with an Excellence in Youth Leadership Award.

Both students won first place in their division/weight classification. In addition, Alex Leon is top three in the State for his age group. We are so proud of our future Tomcats for working hard to reach their full potential. Congratulations David and Alex!
