On August 16, the Curriculum Committee of the Board of Education recognized ten amazing student authors. Each student was a winner in the K-8 Grade EASD 131 Summer Writing Contest held during summer school. Students used an app for creating digital books to write about a meaningful day or event during the pandemic. Congratulations to all our winners: Christian Chavez, Gretel Ivanna Ruiz Herrera, Kelsy Nso Esuke, Arath Martinez, Conzuelo Quixtan, Sabrina Lojeski, Leslie Bustos Romo, Amaris Luna, Harmony Little, and Nicholas Sookoo.
