Extreme Heat Forces Blackberry Farm to Close Early Thursday, Friday

Blackberry Farm, at 100 S. Barnes Road, will be closing early on Thursday and Friday due to the extreme heat.

The popular attraction will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, according to a social media post. The early closure will not affect evening events.

“With an excessive heat warning issued for those days, we want to assure the safety of our patrons, groups and animals,” according to the Blackberry Farm Facebook post. “Please take caution if you're planning to be outdoors.”
