Farnsworth Avenue Detours Start Thursday: Aurora Police
Expect limited access via I-88.

AURORA, IL — Drivers who take I-88 should expect delays as access is reduced to and from the Farnsworth Avenue ramps. Weather permitting, detours will begin Thursday as roadway and bridge pavement reconstruction gets underway on the interchange.
"Detours will be put in place for traffic traveling from eastbound I-88 to northbound Farnsworth Avenue and traffic traveling from northbound Farnsworth Avenue to westbound I-88," Aurora police said Wednesday. "Both traffic movements currently require left turns through the work zone where pavement work is underway, so access will be temporarily restricted for construction. All other interchange ramp access will remain open to drive."
