Fire Breaks Out on Roof of Premium Outlets
The entire food court was closed and no injuries were reported.

A fire broke out on the roof of Premium Outlets in Aurora Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the call at around 5:09 p.m. and upon arrival found a roof vent smoldering. Mall security employees were able to extinguish most of the fire before firefighters arrived.

The roof vent was eventually fully extinguished and overhauled.
The fire was contained to the roof vent and did not spread to any other parts. However, the entire food court was closed and the Kane County Health Department was contacted.

The cost of damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000. There were no injuries reported.
