Fire On Fourth Street Causes Portion Of Road To Close: Aurora PD

Police are asking drivers to avoid a few blocks on Fourth Street and Flagg Street while fire crews are on the scene Thursday afternoon.

AURORA, IL — A portion of Fourth and Flagg streets are closed while crews attend to a second-alarm structure fire that broke out around noon Thursday, according to Aurora police.

Fourth Street is closed between Claim and Spring streets, while Flagg Street is shut down between Lincoln Avenue and Root Street.

In a post on Facebook at 12:12 p.m., police asked drivers to avoid the area while firefighters are on the scene.
